The information that follows will give you an idea of the process for next year when the applications are open again. The campus will be notified through Scotmail when applications are being accepted again.
Enrichment Scholarship Application Process
The Staff Assembly scholarships support activities that enrich the personal and professional lives of UCR staff. You may apply for one of two scholarship categories:
- Degree attainment expenses.
- Career development (certificate program, conference, workshops, courses, etc.)
All career staff employees who have completed the probation period are eligible to apply.
You will be required to submit receipts. Funds that are not used for the requested purpose must be returned to the Staff Assembly.
Activity must occur or be completed within the 12-month period of January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. If available, attach all related information and documentation (announcement, catalogue, registration forms, etc.,) for fees requested for this activity. Include copies of receipts (enrollment, certificate, parking, transportation, lodging, etc.) for any existing related expenses. If you have not yet registered or taken the course you are requesting the funds for please send a copy of the documentation when it has been received.
Submission of an application in no way guarantees that a scholarship will be awarded. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
